A socially-just online counselling practice that exists for the good of the people

Commons (noun): land and resources that belong to the whole of a community

Making Wellness Commonplace

The Commons is a socially-just online counselling practice located in British Columbia, Canada that exists for the good of the people. We draw power and hope from the shared wisdom, strength, and skill of each individual narrative and their place in the human collective.

The weight of our stories can be carried together. We believe that the resources with which people can be healed exist in shared knowledge, in listening, and in relationship.

The Commons offers connection and community, equipping people with the tools they need to unravel the stories they have been told about who they are. With patient and attentive care, we empower all people to walk bravely with beauty and truth, through grief and joy.

Areas of Practice

Our clinic is dedicated to supporting individuals with diverse needs, emphasizing the importance of a secure space for change. Our clinicians foster genuine connections, offering warmth and a deep understanding of systemic injustice. We employ an integrative approach, including expertise in AEDP and Sex Therapy. We address a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, systemic oppression, trauma, relational issues, burnout, and more.
